Fresh from his win, Dancing On Icechampion Ryan Thomas jetted off on a lads’ holiday to Dubai last week – while fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh stayed at home with their two children.

Judging by their social media accounts, their experiences couldn’t have been more different. As Ryan, 39, celebrated in the sunshine, Lucy, 32, revealed she was having one of the “least favourite days of her life”.

Taking to Instagram, the former TOWIE star explained she’s been juggling feeling unwell while looking after their son Roman, four, and 22-month-old daughter, Lilah.

She told her followers, “Very little sleep for two nights, solo parenting and my endometriosis symptoms are at the worst they’ve ever been! Sending love to anyone else struggling today.”

While Lucy is extremely supportive of her other half, a source has said she’s found it difficult while he’s been away.

They added, “She loves being a mum but it’s a struggle with two little ones when she’s on her own. She’s looking forward to him coming home and them spending some time together as a family.”

On top of her lack of sleep, Lucy told how things went from bad to worse after she accidentally locked herself out of the house.

“So today’s officially probably one of my least favourite days there has ever been in my life,” she wrote. “It’s just been hard work today, little sleep, very hard work, and then just to top off, I just went to put the bins out and the door slammed behind me – both the kids eating a snack inside.

“I can’t see them.

I was like, ‘Oh my God.’

I saw my neighbour’s door slam on their car, I’m jumping up and down like, ‘Help me! Oh, God!’ It’s good that we know and
