The mum-of-five wants her girls to be body confident, a source tells new

Stacey wants to be a good role model for her daughters

Stacey Solomon has been on a fitness transformation since welcoming her youngest daughter Belle last year, overhauling her lifestyle shortly after giving birth.

And as she gets stuck into her fitness regime, a source has told us that the mother-of-five, 34, is making the change to provide a positive role model for her daughters and hopes to “change the world” when it comes to body confidence for them.

“Stacey has always been a big promoter of body confidence and thinks everyone is beautiful, no matter what size they are. But after having two girls, she wanted to show them that women can be strong and fit and that exercise is not always about losing weight and is great for the mind as well,” the source said.

Alongside 14-month-old Belle, Stacey shares son Rex, four, and daughter Rose, two, with her husband Joe Swash. She is also mum to Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 11, from previous relationships.

Despite labelling herself “allergic to exercise” in the past, Stacey has been detailing her fitness journey on social media and admitted to being ”proud” of how far she’s come. Revealing that daily exercise has made her feel better mentally too, Stacey said in February, “Feeling so buzzing like more awake and alive because of a little bit of exercise a day. For anyone who thinks they can’t! I promise you if I can you can. I was allergic to exercise. One little step at a time. You’ve got this.”

Our source added, “Stacey has never felt better and wants to be a role model for Rose and Belle and show they can do anything they can put their minds to. Obviously, she wants her boys to grow up being confident but it really hit home when she had daughters herself. She wants the girls to know, that however you look on the outside, it’s all about the inside and doesn’t want them to ever have body issues.
