RUTH LANGSFORD

Fans were shocked by the recent news of Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes’ break-up after 14 years of marriage, apparently the latest Loose Women star to fall foul of the show’s so-called “curse”.

A spokesperson for the 64-year-olds, who began dating in 1996 and share son Jack, 22, said last month, “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

While an official reason for the split has not been given, it has been reported that the couple’s careers “took them in different directions”. Eamonn’s chronic pain battle has also been suggested as a source of tension, with the presenter battling severe back pain for more than two years.

COLEEN NOLAN

Singer Coleen, 59, was first married to EastEnders legend Shane Richie. The couple met in 1986 and eloped to Florida four years later, welcoming two sons, Jake and Shane, during their time together. However, things turned sour when infidelity struck the relationship and they split in 1999 after nine years as husband and wife. Shane later admitted in his autobiography that he had cheated on Coleen.

The Loose Women star then married musician Ray Fensome in 2007, but they divorced after 10 years as she admitted there was “too much dividing” them. She shared at the time that she’d fought with “every fibre of her being” to make the relationship work.

Hopefully her current beau Michael Jones – who she met in 2021 on Tinder – will prove to be The One.

LINDA ROBSON

Linda Robson married business owner Mark Dunford in 1990 and they were together for over three decades. However, the Birds Of A Feather star announced last year that they had decided to part ways.

The former couple share two grown-up children, Louis, 32, and Bobbie, 28. Months after announcing the split, Linda admitted that, despite their lengthy marriage, the couple “never had much in common” and they simply “grew apart”.

With absolutely no plans to get hitched again, Linda, 66, recently said, “I’m not interested in dating, I’m too old now. I can’t be bothered with all that jiggy jiggy.”

JANE MOORE

In 2002, Jane Moore had quite the showbiz wedding to fellow journalist and PR guru Gary Farrow – with Elton John as best man.
