If you’ve got items in your wardrobe you haven’t worn in a while, it could be time to do a clearout. Resale websites like eBay, Depop and Vinted have become increasingly popular in recent years as we all feel the pinch of the rising cost of living, and they’re the perfect places to head to if you’re new to the world of online selling.

PROMOTE HIGH-VALUE PIECES

If your items aren’t selling as quickly as you’d like, resale sites all offer a service where you can boost or promote your pieces to increase their visibility across the sites. This does come at an extra cost, but prices start from as little as £1 and it’s worth considering if it’s a high-value or designer item.

AUTHENTICATE YOUR PIECE

If you’re selling a designer item, you should consider authenticating it so buyers know it isn’t a fake. Different sites offer different authentication services, with prices ranging from £10 per item on Vinted and no ch
