MAKING A DIFFERENCE

A host of stars braved the London rain to attend the Prince’s Trust Awards at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane last Tuesday. The awards, which shine a light on the inspirational young people who support their communities, were created by King Charles III.

Trust ambassadors Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were the hosts for the evening – Ant’s first night out since becoming a dad after welcoming baby boy Wilder with wife Anne-Marie Corbett on 14 May.

Descending on the red carpet, with umbrellas at hand, were many familiar faces, including Kate Garraway. It’s been a difficult few months for the Good Morning Britain presenter, who has been focusing on her children Darcey, 18, and Billy, 14, after her husband Derek Draper died in January, aged 56.

Former model Heather, the ex-wife of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, looked amazing in a red power suit as she was joined by her partner, Mike Dickman. And Martin, star of Sherlock and The Responder, was stylish in a grey suit as he wrapped an arm around French actress Rachel Benaissa.

Martin was one of the many celebrities presenting awards during the evening, alongside Damian Lewis, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and Fearne Cotton – who is the Prince’s Trust’s Goodwill Ambassador for Mental Health and co-hosted the ceremony back in 2019.

Stars such as Clara Amfo, Love Island’s Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan, Line Of Duty star Stephen Graham and beauty guru Charlotte Tilbury also attended to show their support.

Long-time ambassador Pixie Lott, who performed, shared her joy at working with the charity. “I’ve been lucky enough to have
