YOU WILL NEED • Brother ScanNCut SDX1200 • Two Red Robins Forgotten Fields SVG USB • Cardstock, 250gsm white • Glitter spray

• Adhesives: glue, spray glue

• Printer

1 Using the Forgotten Fields USB, select Festive Bird Song, Merry Christmas, Matt Cuts, then Large Mat. Set onto the mat, press Edit and change the number to three. Move one SVG file to one side. Working with the other SVGs, select Edit, rotate 180° and flip. Align with the second SVG cut so the top is rotated, and the bottom is the correct way. Select part of the mat and cover the third SVG file at the bottom. Align centrally.

2 Highlighting the top piece only, move it down until the file overlaps the bottom piece. Select part of the mat and move up to hide the first SVG cut. Press Ok twice, then Weld. Load the cutting mat with 250gsm white cardstock in the top-left corner and cut. Fold over the welded blank once it has been cut out. Cover the third SVG cut in spray adhesive and glitter. Layer onto the blank.

3 Using the USB, choose Reflection Cut and select the large folder. Press Edit and delete the red box from the outer edge. Cut three Merry Christmas files from 250gsm white cardstock. Glue the layers together to create a thick chipboard element.

4 Returning to the USB, select the large folder, then everything on the mat. Select Edit and group together. Print one large reflection at 100% on your home printer. Place onto the left-hand corner of your cutting mat. Scan into the machine, align the red box over the black box and cut. Glue the reflection on top of the Merry Christmas chipboard ele
