The patterns might be Made By Elves, but these Christmas delights can all be made by you

Sometimes all you need for some top-notch festive cards is a killer collection – and here’s the proof! For her latest set of stunning seasonal greetings, Sarah Jackman Read has almost exclusively used materials from this joyous Craft Consortium release. Designed by the wonderful Helz Cuppleditch, Made By Elves ticks all our boxes for a stand-out Christmas collection. Colourful, inventive and bursting with fun, this is one seasonal set you simply cannot miss.

PARTIAL CARD FRONT

1 Create an 11cm x 15cm white blank and trim the front panel down to 6cm high. Cover the front and inside panels with candy cane paper, then snip scenic paper to 10cm x 14cm and adhere inside. Cut snowy paper to 5cm x 10cm, wrap washi tape around it and fix to the front.

2 Layer up a decoupage design without the square base panel, then attach to the top of the front section. Snip out a sentiment and fix towards the bottom. Add enamel dots to the corners.

FESTIVE APERTURE

1 Cover the front of a 14cm square tent-fold white blank with sentiment paper. Matt checked paper on top. Draw around the base panel of a decoupage design onto the card front, towards the top. Cut out to form an aperture.

2 Wrap washi tape around the front panel below the aperture. Trim scenic paper to 13.5cm square and adhere inside. Stamp, colour and cut out elves and a Christmas tree, then attach above the washi tape with 3D foam pads.

3 Trim a sentiment, layer onto snowy paper and fix below the aperture using 3D foam pads. Thread twine through a tool charm, tie into a bow and secure next to the sentiment. Finish with enamel dots.

SNOW IS FALLING

1 Make a 10.5cm x 15cm top-folding white blank, then cover the front with sentiment paper. Snip scenic paper to 9.5cm x 14cm and adhere on top. Wrap washi tape around the bottom. Stamp, colour and trim a sleigh, then attach on the right-hand side with 3D foam pads.

2 Cut out a sentiment and secure on the left-hand side using 3D foam pads. Thread twine through a tool charm, tie in a bow and adhere below the sentiment. Embellish the corners with enamel dots.

DOUBLE DUTCH FOLDING

1 Snip white card to 19cm x 24cm, then score down from the long edge at 6cm and 18cm. Mark 6cm up from both bottom corners and draw across to the score lines. Trim off the excess above the lines.

2 Fold the sides inwards, then score 7cm down from the top and fold downwards. Cover all the panels and the inside with candy cane paper. Trim snowy paper to 11cm square and adhere inside, then
