This card was made for a gentleman who designed a hen run for my chickens. I made him a z-fold card, with the chicks and chickens cut from shimmer card using my ScanNCut. The patterned paper kept the nature theme without distracting from the images.

This card was made using Avery Elle’s Hello Chum stamps. I mounted the shark and sentiment on a sheet of paper from Stampin’ Up!’s Whale Of A Time set. I was inspired to make this card during Shark Week.

I love my dies and this ornate window die was just the right size to make a small but perfectly shaped card. The die set had a separate die for the ornate carving of the window at the top, so I could decoupage it easily to give a little more dimension. Because I love making flowers, I added some pink rustic sunflowers.

This card actually meant a lot to me. I lost my dad earlier this year and have struggled for inspiration since. The few cards I’ve made were nearly direct copies from your amazing card designs featured in PaperCrafter. This was the first card since my dad’s passing that I’ve come up with by myself this year and it felt like a really big achievement.
