This splendid new collection from Rosie’s Studio is just what we need right now. Packed full of rainbows, flowers and joyous affirmations, the Simply Charming release has significantly boosted our mood. It helps that these wonderful materials have been turned into a brilliant set of cards by Sarah Jackman Read, of course. Get ready for a variety of card shapes and styles, all boosted with the power of positivity.
SENTIMENT MARVEL
1 Snip white card to 16cm x 18cm, then score down from the long side at 6cm and valley fold. Cover the front and inside panels with blue flower paper. Trim pink striped paper to 4.5cm x 14.5cm and glue to the front. Cut tree paper to 10.5cm x 14.5cm and adhere inside. Snip a border of contrasting paper, 2cm x 16cm, then fix down the right-hand side.
2 Attach acetate to the back of two die-cut frames and run foam tape around the edges, leaving no gaps. Die cut two 6cm circles from two different papers. Add sprinkles on top of the acetate, then secure the circles to the foam tape to create shakers. Glue to the edge of the front panel. Adhere sentiments to both shakers, then attach birds on top. Embellish with stickers.
SHAKER TOPPER
1 Take a 9cm x 16cm top-folding white blank and cover the front with dragonfly paper. Glue word paper, 7.5cm x 14.5cm, on top. Trim contrasting paper to 4cm x 9cm, then adhere down the centre.
2 Attach acetate to the back of a chipboard frame and run foam tape around the edge, leaving no gaps. Add sprinkles on the acetate, then secure pink striped paper, 4.5cm x 6cm, to the foam tape to create a shaker. Fix to the centre of the greeting.
3 Adhere a sentiment to the front of the shaker, then attach die-cut butterflies in the top-left and bottom-right corners using 3D foam pads. Embellish with stickers to finish.
