BUT WHO WATCHES THE SPY?

THE SPY The Spy is paid exclusively in savoury pastries.

The Spy doesn’t believe in money. Sure, The Spy has seen the coins and notes you parade around, and heard tell of their ability to be exchanged for a Greggs Steak Bake. The Spy understands these coins and notes are then gathered up and given to the people who make and hand out the Steak Bakes – presumably so, they too, can go on to secure their own supply of Steak Bakes. It all seems very circuitous and unnecessary. To The Spy’s knowledge, seagulls have never mastered currency. And yet The Spy has observed that they are very good at acquiring Steak Bakes.

And this is just your basic, ground level economics – the thing designed in a way that your average beefcraving Joe can understand. It says nothing of the frankly terrifying design that is high-level finance. As far as The Spy can tell, the stock market is built on a foundation of intangibles – the atmospheric shift when a butterfly flaps its wings, the tortured moan of a Victorian ghost, the weary sigh when a staff writer any get released ever. Second, a Bloomberg report claimed hits publish on a new article in the CMS.

In late March, for instance, Kotaku claimed – citing anonymous sources at Rockstar – that GTA VI production was behind schedule, and that its release window could potentially slip into 2026. As a result, the stock price of Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s owner, dropped by 5.2%. Days later, Kotaku updated its article, clarifying matters after speaking to some more sources.

The new information sounds less drastic: at one point, it seems, an early-2025 release date was planned – matching hints Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick made to investors last year. Now, Kotaku claims, that is no longer possible. Instead, the new target is said to be autumn 2025 – although Kotaku notes there is still the “possibility” of a further delay. Since the update, Take-Two’s share price has slowly started to rise again.
