Your bedroom should be a sanctuary, aiding restful sleep and relaxation, so decorate it to your own tastes, and choose key elements with care

When embarking on a bedroom redesign, the priority is to create a space that evokes peace and serenity. The scheme should feel harmonious and uncluttered, giving you the space to truly relax. Combinations of clever cabinetry, so you can achieve that minimalist aesthetic, and layers of soothing colours, subtle patterns and rich textures will help you unwind at the end of a busy day.

Bedroom window treatments need to deal with both extremes. They should let in light while retaining privacy during the morning, and then offer immersive darkness come night. Ensure the layered look works harmoniously by opting for curtains in a colour that is seen elsewhere through the room.
