TIME TO CEL EBRATE

Inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, the handsome new solid oak Wycombe 8-seater dining table from furniture brand Neptune, £3,795, seamlessly extends from the centre to create a grand 12-seater, ideal for hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner party. For an elegant scheme, dress the table with a neutral tablecloth and finish with tapered, coloured dinner candles in brass or glass candlesticks, and little seasonal flower arrangements. Pair with Neptune’s Wycombe dining chairs with woven rush seats – the brand’s take on the iconic Sussex chair – £450 each.

Indian Summer

Fabric designer Julia Brendell’s work is influenced by many different cultures around the world and draws on her love for folk art style – a popular and common trend in Poland, her home country. This season she has launched two new complementar y designs to her range: Summer Rose, a delicate trellis design, and Indian Summer, bold and reminiscent of an Indian block-print style. Printed in the UK onto Oxford Linen, all her fabrics are suitable for cur tains, blinds, upholstery, cushions and headboards. Pictured is a cushion in Summer Rose Petite in Kiss Me, and curtain in Indian Summer in Kiss Me, both £70 per metre.

COUNTRY CHARM

Designed for ‘countr y-loving folk’, the Christmas collections by Yorkshire-based artist and homeware designer, Rebecca Pitcher, will add some seasonal cheer to your kitchen. Her collection includes fine bone china mugs made in the traditional potteries of Stoke-on-Trent, and kitchen textiles, including co-ordinating teatowels, hob cover, oven gloves and apron. Pictured are the Christmas Robin and Christmas Car mugs, £18 each, and the Christmas Robin teatowel, £11.

Burning bright

Many millions of candles are burned every year in the UK, with candle containers often discarded after use. Artisan candle refill brand, Pott, is on a mission to combat industry waste, so its candles come with a lifetime ‘Pott’, hand thrown by artisan producers in the UK, which after use can be refilled with the company’s custom-made refills. Limited edition wintry scents, presented in a ruby pott, include Opulence, with notes of amber and datura; Fir’s Siberian pine and eucalyptus scent and Noel’s bergamot, clove and warming winter spice aroma. Prices start at £40, including standard pott and refill.
