Letter of the Month

As a reader of PhotoPlus, it was interesting to see your Apprentice article in the March issue, ‘Go Coastal in Norfolk’. We were recently at Horsey on the east coast and wondered if there were any seals still there, as it was close to the end of the breeding season. To our delight there were more than 1500 large pups only days away from going into the North Sea!

Armed with my Canon EOS 7D Mark II and Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens, I sprung into action. Here are some of my favourite shots from what I call a dog’s eye view!

I would describe myself as an amateur who loves to capture anything that’s there – so much so, I confess, I never have time or patience to practise different techniques and use Auto modes far too much, but still get huge pleasure from photography. I must try to practise what’s in your great Canon magazines more often!

Glad to see we’ve inspired you, Roger!
