Icapture the elegance of creating life through the female body. Pregnancy can be different for every woman, some experiencing the amazing highs and an everyday glow, while for others it can feel like an illness with severe sickness among many other issues.
Something that a maternity photoshoot can offer families is a moment of the simple beauty that pregnancy offers. By using good lighting, creative editing, comfortable posing and glamorous outfits, I’m able to highlight the baby bump to represent the beauty that comes with it.
I often pose my models in a wrap as there are so many different ways to style them. It is handy to have a second person assisting on a maternity shoot to flick or hold the wraps up as I take the photograph. Capturing movement in photographs can add character to the image and without a second pair of hands I wouldn’t be able to achieve this result. I advise my clients on a wardrobe that consists of statement pieces and simple, fitted garments.
