I just wanted to dance with my girls

Knocking back shots with my mates, we giggled in glittery dresses.

It was New Year’s Day 2019, and I was looking forward to agood night.

I hadn’t been out the night before, so this was my celebration.

As many were nursing a hangover, the club was fairly empty, but we didn’t care.

We just fancied a dance.

I’d planned to meet my boyfriend Dan* later in the night, but for now, girls’ night was in full swing.

I was with two of my girlfriends, but with the club virtually empty, they decided to close early.

So, the three of us went to meet Dan and his friend Darren Shaw, then 33.

A bit older than us, I’d never met him before, but he worked with Dan, so I invited him back to mine with the rest of us.

My parents, Belinda, 53, and Tony, 49, were away in their caravan for the night, so I figured there was no harm in letting everyone sleep over.

And so, with the sleeping arrangements sorted, Dan and I headed up to bed at around 2am.

Climbing in, Dan and I kissed goodnight before falling asleep.

Having had a few drinks, sleep was just what I needed.

Around 7am, Iwoke suddenly.

At first, I couldn’t pinpoint it, but something didn’t feel right.

Peeling open my eyes, I quickly realised what it was.

Someone was inside of me...

At first, I thought it was Dan, but turning around to face him, he was fast asleep.

‘What’s happening?’ I muttered, still a little groggy.

Then, it hit me – this wasn’t right.

Someone was really inside of me.

I might have had a few to drink, but I wasn’t drunk.

There was no one else in the bed, but lifting up the duvet, I saw Darren’s face.

He was knelt on the floor, leaning over to reach inside of me.

Pulling himself away, Iwas frozen in fear.

Am I dreaming?

He then grip
