Love after love

Sally Eubanks, 52, knew she’d found a keeper just as she was about to say goodbye...

Waving at my husband as he stepped out of the front door, I felt so bittersweet about it all.

Heading out to another exotic location, Corey, 62, was going to be having the time of his life on yet another film set as an experienced stuntman.

It was something that we’d first bonded over after meeting in a bar back in 2001.

‘It must be dangerous,’ I’d told him all those years ago.

‘A few bumps and concussions along the way,’ he chuckled. ‘But nothing serious.’

In fact, Corey had convinced me to start my own career as a stuntwoman, where I even appeared as a stunt double for Edie, played by Nicollette Sheridan, in the hit show Desperate Housewives.

Dragging on for months, the entire process was so exhausting and soon, the extortionate legal fees had drained my savings.

Yet finally, in court, we were able to agree to a 50/50 split and a figure for child support.

However, it was only temporary until the divorce was finalised.

Months turned into years, yet we couldn’t come to an agreement. Dropping off the kids to Corey, I kept my lips sealed, staying in the car and never speaking to him.

Instead, I had bigger things on my mind –Iwas focusing on the
