This one-hour documentary tells the story of Andrew Malkinson – and the devastating effect of the years he spent in prison for a crime he didn’t commit.

On the morning of 2 August 2003, there was a knock at Andrew’s door. It was the police – there to arrest him for the violent attack and rape of a young woman.

He was adamant he hadn’t done it, but when victim identified him as the man who attacked her, he was charged with attempted murder and rape.

A jury found him guilty and he was jailed for life – beginning his sentence at HMP Frankland.
