‘DISAPPOINTED AT LACK OF PUZZLES’
I’ve just settled down to enjoy my subscription of Platinum, which is my favourite read. I was dismayed and disappointed to see that the puzzles section has gone from the back pages. Please consider reintroducing it. As a woman in my early 60’s I try and keep my brain active, and I love turning the pages and finishing with the puzzles.’

‘Thanks for your feedback. You and a few others commented on the lack of puzzles. I took that decision having consulted the feedback from the recent reader survey. Of those who filled in the survey, most rated health, fashion and beauty as their top interests from the magazine, followed by travel and interiors/cooking (there is a recipe feature in this issue and there will be lots more next month pre-Christmas), with puzzles languishing right at the bottom of interests/priorities. I therefore felt that the majority of readers would prefer having more content to read on health and fashion (both of which I have increased), rather than puzzles. However, if lots of readers feel differently and if more requests for the puzzles are forthcoming, I will perhaps look to reintroduce them.
