What sleeping beauties have we found this month?
1983 Ford Fiesta XR2
Stuart Harland was on holiday in Ambleside and spotted this little gem, an XR2 that has been there for years. It has recently been moved – hopefully into the hands of a restorer!
1970 Morris Minor
Here's a pretty little Minor, spotted by Ian Lawrence on a recent trip to the Lake District. It’s on SORN, but it looks very saveable… hopefullya light winter project for its owner.
Jensen Interceptor
Craig Tiley says this Seventies Interceptor has been languishing on a Kent driveway since, at least, 2009. Looks rotten as a pear and bruised as a peach, but what a project this would make!
Austin FX3 Taxi
David Sanders from Peacehaven has been scratching his head every time he passes by this rusting wreck in the Horley district of Surrey. To guide you out of the dark David, it looks to be an Austin FX3 from 1948-58.
DAF 33
On a stroll in Tuscany, Italy, Owen Greenway came across a rare and contrasting pair of classics. This 33 is a little shabby, but complete.
Twisted Alfa
Owen is not certain what this is, however. It has the lines of an Alfa Romeo Barchetta and must have quite the story to tell as every alloy panel is twisted, with a fully exposed steel wire frame. First guess might be a FiftiesAlfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce, but can anyone identify?
