Charity HEROES

'We should all be proud to be part of the old car scene'

A new year is often a time of reflection as we look back at what we achieved in 2022, and on that basis we’re very proud to revisit the work of a charity that has featured in these pages before – and one that reached a major milestone last year.

The Sporting Bears Motor Club has raised over £3m for children’s charities since it began fundraising in 1989, breaking through the three-million milestone in 2022 while making an enormous difference to the lives of underprivileged kids through nothing other than kindness and a desire to help.

Involving 10 Rolls-Royces, a police escort, and one of London’s most renowned landmarks. Everything was for the purpose of giving children who live difficult lives a day to remember – aonce-a-year event that comes off the back of months of fundraising by committed car enthusiasts from across the UK.
