Restoration is at the heart of this magazine, it is our life blood. The process of bringing back from the dead an otherwise doomed lump of metal, reviving and breathing life into it - for love not money – gets us out of bed in the morning. It gets a lot of people that way if our circulation figures are anything to go by. With economic troubles surrounding us, PC has bucked the trend for print and we find ourselves with an increasingly popular product, remarkable in this day and age.
I like to think we do an okay job, and you can get even more of it if you join the PC club and become a member, but really the success of the mag is not about what we do. It is a reflection of the love all of us have for automotive revival… fixing up old cars.
It’s why TV shows such as Repair Shop and Car SOS are so well loved and why – when you go out to the shed for a tinker, you come back feeling better about life, it’s why our two friends on the cover didn’t stop talking and laughing throughout their photoshoot.
