Abar made out of the remains of a scrap Mini Cooper has proven just the tonic for the Mission Motorsport charity. Created by The Galloping Gallery, the MiniBar was hand-crafted from a salvaged classic Cooper, and transformed into a characterful and unique piece of functional art.

The piece was originally donated to Mission Motorsport to be auctioned off at one of its raffle events in November 2022, where it was won by a collector – but he has since sold it on again in a charity auction through the online platform Collecting Cars, to once again raise funds for Mission Motorsport.

The bar, which features the rear half of a classic Mini Cooper, is a movable mini bar and seating area, featuring reclaimed oak flooring on a bespoke steel frame extending from the rear seats, which have been reupholstered in maroon pub-style fabric.

It also features an oak champagne bar parcel shelf with brushed aluminium bottle coolers, a mirrored bar counter fitted in the boot lid and a custom bottle and glass storage area in the boot, featuring a drinks turntable.

After some enthusiastic bidding, the MiniBar raised £5000 for the charity.
