New literature and art festival set for Silverstone

ANNIVERSARY OVERLOAD

It's almost a quarter of a century since Lancia disappeared from the UK, but affection for the marque is stronger than ever, which is why the Lancia Motor Club is thriving. Its PR man Tim Heath told us: ‘We celebrated our 75th birthday in 2022, making us the oldest and largest Lancia club in the world. We have 21 model advisors and can supply technical manuals as well as handbooks, plus we have a tool hire scheme.’ More details available at lanciamc.co.uk.

Lord Hesketh, Andy Wallace, Ian Callum, John Watson, Peter Stevens, Dr Andy Palmer, Lee McKenzie, Sir John Egan, Karun Chandhok, Jackie Oliver and Mike Wilds.

‘Meanwhile, Mark Stewart is screening his superb feature-length film Stewart of his father, Sir Jackie, whose Race Against Dementia is the event's charity partner. The subjects that are set to be tackled range from the future of the auto industry to cheats in motor racing, from the 2023 F1 season to crime, from ‘blowing the bloody doors off’ to the all-conquering Porsche 956s and 962s, from the greatest car film debate to the Jaguar XJR-15, from the business of going fast to when history is not the full story, from James
