The magnificent Elizabethan mansion at Hardwick Hall (pictured) might be more familiar as Malfoy Manor to fans of Harry Potter, but it has its own truly spectacular history, as one of England’s earliest examples of Renaissance style. Now owned by the National Trust and English Heritage, it is open to visitors.

Stay at Teversal Campsite for trips to the Hardwick estate, and bring your hiking boots, so you can explore the beauty of the Peak District, too.

The site is open all year round, and has three types of pitch available.
