Sacred Bones is an independent record label and publishing company based in Brooklyn, NY, USA. We’ve spent the last 15 years crafting a critically respected label that’s synonymous with forward-thinking music and culture. With over 300 releases under our belt, we’ve had the pleasure of working with artists such as Patti Smith, DJ Muggs and the late Genesis P-Orridge, as well as fostering the respective music careers of film directors David Lynch, John Carpenter and Jim Jarmusch. We’ve also released career-defining albums by newer artists including Zola Jesus, Molchat Doma, Amen Dunes and Spellling, and retain our cult underground following as well through smaller curated releases from some of the best punk and experimental artists around right now.
