The France captain on childhood, chilling and choosing a medical career

“I grew up in Wallis & Futuna (a tiny island nation). People don’t realise the potential we have there. When you see how many people from Wallis go on to play for France, it’s really big given the size of our population. I think there are a lot more players who could come to France and play international rugby.”

“In high school I spent three years in New Zealand. I became independent at a young age and that’s helped me through the years.”
