Eyes front

There’s nothing like a bit of spring sunshine to help us notice the toll winter weather has taken on our front doors and porches. Here’s how to give yours a revamp:

RE PAINT

Give your front door a new look with some Polyfilla and a pot of paint. Wash down, fill and sand any chips and cracks, then get to work with paint. Give a hint to your home’s colour palette with a shade that is repeated inside, like a duck-egg blue, or go for a bold accent, like a sunny yellow.

ADD POTS

Create a display of seasonal plants around your front door. Flowering spring bulbs can be picked up ready-to-go in pots, or look ahead to summer with soon-to-bloom hydrangeas.
