As the name suggests, Sakuma 525 Crab Hooks have been designed primarily with fishing crab baits in mind though, of course, they are equally effective when used with other baits, notably live baits. An extra strong hook made from hi-carbon steel, featuring a wide gape, short shank and supremely sharp chemically sharpened needle point, these are the perfect hook for presenting peeler crab whenever targeting species such as bass, smoothhound, wrasse, gilthead bream and trigger fish. TRONIXPRO GAFF
Due to popular demand from skippers and boat anglers Tronixpro have launched a new gaff for boating big fish. Gaffs have fallen out of favour in recent years with many anglers switching to nets for sustainability and fish welfare reasons; however, gaffs continue to be a useful tool in the arsenal of a skipper or boat angler when a fish that is being retained needs to be brought onboard the boat quickly and securely. At 1.2m in length the gaff shaft is made from aluminium and features a comfortable nonslip EVA handle. They have also placed an EVA nonslip grip in the middle of the handle which prevents your hand slipping when you’re using both hands to control the gaff, making it much safer to use on bigger fish.
