YOU WILL NEED
■ Any DK weight cotton yarn in: light peach white light blue light yellow light grey pink
■ A 2.5mm (US B/a or C/2) hook
■ Stitch markers
■ 2 safety eyes, 8mm
■ Toy stuffing
■ Silver stranded cotton
■ Plastic pearl beads
■ Transparent beading cord

NOTES
Parts of this pattern are worked using the amigurumi method. Work stitches continuously in a spiral without closing off each round with a slip stitch. It may help to use a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round, moving it up as you work.
If you are making this as a toy for a child under 36 months, do not use safety eyes or beads; instead, embroider eyes using black stranded cotton.
DIANA PRINCESS OF WALES LEGS (MAKE 2)
Using light peach, make a magic loop.
Round 1 (RS) Ch1, 6dc in loop. [6 sts] Round 2 (RS) 2dc in each st around. [12 sts] Rounds 3-8 Dc in each st around. Change to white.
Round 9 Dc in each st around.
Fasten off first Leg only.
BODY
Body is worked around sts of both Legs. Cont on from second Leg using white.
Round 10 (RS) Ch3, dc in each st around first Leg, pm in first dc, dc in next 3 ch, dc in each st around second Leg, dc in opposite side of 3 ch between Legs. [30 sts] Round 11 (Dc in next 4 sts, 2dc in next st) 6 times. [36 sts] Rounds 12-16 Dc in each st around. Stuff as you work.
Round 17 (Dc in next 4 sts, dc2tog) 6 times. [30 sts] Change to light blue.
Round 18 Dc in each st around.
Round 19 Dc in bl of each st around.
Round 20 (Dc in next 3 sts, dc2tog) 6 times. [24 sts] Rounds 21-23 Dc in each st around.
Round 24 (Dc in next 2 sts, dc2tog) 6 times. [18 sts] Rounds 25-26 Dc in each st around. Change to light peach.
Round 27 Dc in bl of each st around.
Round 28 (Dc in next st, dc2tog) 6 times. [12 sts] Rounds 29-32 Dc in each st around. Do not fasten off.
HEAD
Head is worked from the top of the Body. Cont with light peach.
Round 33 (RS) 2dc in each st around. [24 sts] Round 34 (Dc in next 3 sts, 2dc in next st) 6 times.
