■ A pair of 4mm needles

■ Stitch holder

■ Locking stitch markers

■ Toy filling

TENSION

22 sts and 28 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over stocking stitch using 4mm needles with single strand 15 sts and 26 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over bobble patt using 5.5mm needles with yarn held double

ANGLER FISH TEA COSY

Notes Divide Yarn A into two balls before you begin (or locate both ends of the ball) so that the yarn can be used held DOUBLE where specified.

MAIN COSY (MAKE 2)

Cast on 28 sts using 5.5mm needles and Yarn A held double.

Row 1 (RS) *K1, P1; rep from * to end.

Row 2 *K1, P1; rep from * to end.

Rows 3 to 8 Rep Rows 1 and 2 three times.

Row 9 Knit.

Row 10 Purl.

Row 11 K2, *kfbf, K3; rep from * to last 2 sts, kfbf, K1. [42 sts] Row 12 P1, *p3tog, P3; rep from * to last 5 sts, p3tog, P2. [28 sts] Row 13 Knit.

Row 14 Purl.

Row 15 K4, *kfbf, K3; rep from * to end. [40 sts] Row 16 P3, *p3tog, P3; rep from * to last st, P1. [28 sts] Rows 17 to 28 Rep Rows 9 to 16 once, then rep Rows 9 to 12 only once more.

Leave sts on a holder. Work second piece in the same way, but leave sts on needle.
