Row 2 *P2, K2; rep from * to last 2 sts, P2. These 2 rows set rib. Cont in rib as set for 7 (7: 7: 8: 8: 8)cm, ending with WS facing for next row.

Next row Rib to end, dec 1 (0: 1: 1: 0: 0) st and inc 0 (1: 0: 0: 1: 1) st at end of row. [105 (119: 129: 141: 151: 163) sts]

Change to 4mm needles.

Cast on 19 sts at beg of next 4 rows.

Next row Patt 79 (85: 90: 96: 101: 107) sts, turn and leave rem sts on a holder. Cont on these sts only for first side of neck. Patt 1 row.

Dec 1 st at neck edge of next 5 rows, then on 2 (2: 2: 3: 3: 4) foll RS rows. [72 (78: 83: 88: 93: 98) sts] Cont without shaping until work meas 21 (23: 25: 26: 27: 28)cm from markers, ending with WS facing for next row.

SHAPE SHOULDER

Next 2 rows Purl to last 18 (19: 20: 22: 23: 24) sts, w&t, patt to end.
