Many of us feel a connection with the angelic realm, and a calling to work with it; others see spellcasting as more their bag! Then there are those who might want to tread both paths – angels and witchy rituals – combining them into one powerful mystical discipline.

‘It’s a pathway that honours the seasonal holy days, helps you to connect to Mother Earth, the elements, the angels and the wisdom of your higher self. This beautiful system helps you explore the true nature of reality, awaken your psychic gifts, helps you to heal, manifest your dreams and so much more,’ continues Claire.
‘Angelic witchcraft is similar to Wicca, or other forms of nature-based spirituality, but it also has differences. For instance, I use archangels to represent the archetypal energies rather than traditional goddesses and gods.’
Unique ways
If you are already out of the broom closet, though, the initial idea of this may be enough to make your toes curl; after all, haven’t our ancestral deities suffered enough? After being wiped out and demonised by religion, to have now been usurped by the archangels?
Not at all, says Claire… ‘As a practising eclectic witch for more than 25 years, paired with the ability to communicate with angels, angelic witchcraft came quite naturally to me,’ reveals Claire. ‘Over the years of hosting women’s magical retreats and workshops, it didn’t take me long to discover that people wanted to take part in ceremonies and rituals but were uncomfortable calling in deities (or the elements) that they were unfamiliar with.
‘This is where the angels come into play. Never in my life have I come across a person afraid to work with an angel. And so I adapted my witchy practices to suit the needs of my students. After all, being a witch is about cultivating unique ways to expand and elevate your consciousness.
‘Gods and goddesses have no ego. They don’t mind being ‘replaced’ with the angels. All beings of love urge us to proceed in a way that makes us feel safe. The bigger picture here lies in the fact that the rise in human consciousness benefits all.
