But one of its most impressive new releases has to be the Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet Formaldehyde (£879.99, dyson.co.uk), its quietest and most powerful purifier to date.

While Dyson is arguably best known for its vacuum cleaners and hair styling technology, the company has made leaps and bounds with its air treatment, offering an extensive collection of purifiers, fans and heaters. The Dyson Big+Quiet joins this line-up and sets itself apart from its sibling purifiers with its unique design and almost silent performance.

Taking a look at the Dyson Big+Quiet, it’s clear to see that it’s big, bold and beautiful. A mix of gold and purple colours, the Dyson Big+Quiet certainly makes a statement and swaps the signature loop design for a more compact and spherical style. The cone-like head of the Dyson Big+Quiet is where air is projected out of, which can reach up to 10 metres and be angled in various directions.

With its integrated sensors, the Dyson Big+Quiet analyses the air in the room and automatically switches on purification when pollutant levels rise. It also switches off once the space has been cleaned and cleverly detects formaldehyde if present in the air.
