While we’re all for seeing as much of the world during our lifetimes as possible, a growing number of travellers are realising that it’s more about quality, not quantity. Have you really ‘done’ Japan if you spent just a couple of nights in Tokyo, for example? We’d suggest not. Our advice? Consider staying in your next destination for longer. This is where serviced suites come in. Think of them as homes from home that are perfect for longer stays, and come with all the amenities we miss when abroad – such as washing machines. Because, let’s face it, we’d much rather spend our time checking out local landmarks than washing our undies in our hotel room’s bathtub.
