GLOUCS V YORKS AT THE SEAT UNIQUE STADIUM

A Gloucestershire stand of 199, led by Ollie Price’s 147 and James Bracey’s 102, on the final day of their match with Yorkshire frustrated the visitors and took a result out of the equation.

Gloucestershire started the day 97-4 and didn’t lose a wicket until just before tea, when Ben Coad removed Price with the second new ball. James Bracey went six overs later, but Gloucestershire then produced a 91-run stand between Ben Charlesworth and Graeme van Buuren to take the result away from Yorkshire.

Gloucestershire’s 263, led by a Cameron Bancroft 70 but dismantled by three-fers from Ben Coad and Matthew Fisher, left them behind the eight ball and Yorkshire extended their first innings lead as their star players fired.

Wayne Madsen to leave Derbyshire 79-3. But Luis Reece and Brooke Guest both made unbeaten contributions to a 146-run partnership which confirmed the draw.

Derbyshire had started the game strongly, largely thanks to the bowling of Alex Thomson, who took 7-65 as only Kiran Carlson passed 50 for Glamorgan, who made 237. But Glamorgan replie
