Made in Britain

There is a wealth of skilled makers and designers on our shores, reviving time-honoured techniques through expertly crafted and creative designs. DeVOL launched its first coloured glass pendant with the help of a local glass artist. Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Co celebrated 20 years with a new 100% British iron four-poster bed frame. Long-established British manufacturer David Hunt Lighting introduced the Icarus collection modelled on a traditional wax candlestick. A perfect union, Burleigh and Barneby Gates’ collaboration resulted in a collection of timeless wallpapers proudly printed in England. The Isles range by Marlborough Tiles paid tribute to the Hebrides with textural irregularities capturing their natural, rugged beauty. Britain has a strong heritage of kitchen makers, from Barnes of Ashburton to The White Kitchen Company, creating beautiful, honest and well-made designs, and Pilgrim’s New-Shaker collection continues this tradition with its simple yet timeless appeal. A leader in heat storage cookers, Everhot launched an electric heater that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern efficiency. Martin Huxford’s lights each demonstrated the creative possibilities of rich materials such as brass and bronze. Cormar Carpets launched multiple new designs, all still made in its Lancashire-based mills first established in 1956. Finally, handmade using sustainably sourced wood, The Colourist collection from Georgie Wykeham can be tailored, colour and finish, to suit any scheme.
