LEICESTER winger Marc Albrighton says the Foxes won’t deviate from their slick possession style when they tackle Chelsea at Stamford Bridge today.

Relegated from the Premier League last term, the Foxes are a team transformed under head coach Enzo Maresca.

The Italian - a former assistant of Pep Guardiola - has guided Leicester to the summit of the Championship and into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, where they will meet the team they famously beat to win the trophy at Wembley in 2021.

“We’ll go there looking to win the game,” said 34-yearold Albrighton, who captained Leicester in the previous round and has started each of the Foxes’ six games in cup competitions this term.

“And we see ourselves as fully capable of doing that with the squad that we have and the way that we’ve proved we can play this season.

“The manager has fully drilled it into us since day one, and he won’t be looking to change for anyone. We’ll go there with our same system that we play in and we work on every day on the training pitch and hopefully we’ll have enough to get a result.

“We’re taking a lot of fans down to London so hopefully we can put on a show and make it a memorable day for them. I think if there’s one thing the Leicester fans can take from the last ten years is that they’ve got the right to dream of big days.

“Obviously, Chelsea are a huge side, a massive club. They’ve had some incredible cup nights themselves and we’ll show them the respect that they deserve.

“But we’ve got confidence from those previous rounds, we’re excited, and this would be a massive occasion if we can go there and get a win.”
