This shawl-collar sweater is smartly cabled, and is knitted in a tweedy Shetland wool

PAT MENCHINI

THIS DROP-SHOULDER sweater from Pat Menchini has a handsomely patterned fabric, featuring narrow columns of cables and twisted stitches. It has a cosy, ribbed shawl collar, which overlaps at the front and is sewn onto the V neck of the sweater. The sleeves are knitted from the top down.

Pat has used a tweedy colourway from West Yorkshire Spinners’ The Croft Aran range; this pure Shetland wool is also available in 17 solid shades.
