PATTERN NOTES

The shawl is worked in one piece from the centre top down to the border. The body of the shawl is worked in a two-row lace pattern using only basic lace stitches on the right side; the wrong-side rows are purled.

Optional beads are added throughout the border.

Optional stitch markers may be placed to separate the charted stitch pattern repeats in the border charts.

The shawl is finished by wet blocking, which opens up the lace fully.

When completely dry, remove blocking pins and trim all yarn ends.
