BODY

Using 5mm circular needles and yarn A, cast on 184 (200:216:232:248:264:280) sts. Pm and join to work in the round, taking care not to twist sts. Place a marker for side after 92 (100:108: 116:124:132:140) sts. Set-up rnd: (K4, P1, K2, P1) to end. Work Rnds 1-2 of Rick Rack Rib until rib meas 22cm from cast-on edge.

SET RICK RACK CHECK PATT

Work Rnds 1-12 of Rick Rack Check Patt until piece meas 33cm from cast-on edge, ending after an odd-numbered round.

DIVIDE FOR FRONT AND BACK

Next rnd: Work next even-numbered round of patt to last 5 (7:8:9:10:11:11) sts, cast off (7:8:9:10:11:11) sts, remove mrk.

Next rnd: Cast off 5 (7:8:9:10:11:11) sts, work in patt to 5 (7:8:9:10:11:11) sts before side mrk, cast off 10 (14:16:18:20:22:22) sts, work in patt to end. 82 (86:92:98:104:110:118) sts for each of Front and Back.

Cont working Back and Front separately.

BACK

Turn so WS is facing and work on these 82 (86:92:98:104:110:118) sts only, keeping pattern correct and working WS rows as for Rick Rack Check Pattern worked flat.

SHAPE ARMHOLE

Next row (RS): K1, K2tog, work in patt to last 3 sts, SSK, K1. 2 sts dec’d. Next row: Patt 1 row. Rep these 2 rows another 5 (6:7:8:9:10:10 times.
