A pair of mitts is a useful accessory to keep in your bag, and this design uses three shades of Shetland wool

OUTI KATER

“THESE FINGERLESS mittens are knitted in Jamieson & Smith’s 2ply Jumper Weight wool,” says Outi Kater. “This unisex pattern comes in two sizes, using two different needle sizes, but with the same number of stitches. The name of the pattern comes from the Gaelic name Somhairle, meaning ‘summer-wanderer’.”

PATTERN NOTE

The two sizes are knitted with the same number of stitches using two different needle sizes. Be careful to check that your gauge matches your chosen size.
