I have now been at the helm of The Lady for a little over two years, and what a pleasure it has been. Thanks to the fabulous work and creativity of the Bedford Street team, the magazine has thrived (despite the mice regularly chewing through our phone lines) – and we’ve gone on to win a prestigious award. But I have also had the opportunity to meet many of you, which really is one of the joys of the job – unless I’m being told off for some error or other. Intelligent, spirited and terribly charming, of course, The Lady reader is a force to be reckoned with. I can only hope that this dazzling double issue does you proud.
