Welcome back! Last month is now a blur of cake and canapes, with my own excess leading to a new personal worst on the scales. What I really need to do now is get out of my (heavenly) stretch waistbands and into something a little more structured. It is, as Jo Foley points out in our New Year, New You series starting today, only for the best. Smaller waists mean smaller health problems. But fear not, if you find the pain of putting away the biscuit barrel too stressful (and I’m in that queue), you can always relax and absorb The Art of Astrology with Russell Grant and perhaps see if our very own Victor Olliver has predicted you might win our luxury spa break for two competition. In the meantime, there’s always the prospect of trying to work out how (and why) Ken Hom cooks fish and chips in his wok. Not that you’ll be eating those, of course. Until next week, best wishes
