Dear Readers, It is 55 years since the young Audrey Hepburn pipped Marilyn Monroe to the role of Holly Golightly and cinemagoers the world over fell in love. Audrey’s timeless and effortlessly chic look was a masterful collaboration with a young French aristocrat called Hubert de Givenchy. It was a perfect pairing that began on the film Sabrina and gave us some of the most exquisite outfits in cinematic history and Audrey one of her closest lifelong friends. Who else has looked quite so good in pearls before or since? Friendship is a recurring theme this week as the stars of Cold Feet tell us what made them decide to reunite 13 years after the series ended. Even if you were not a committed fan the first time, it is easy enough to get swept up in this uniquely dry comedy – certainly a respite for Archers fans everywhere.
