ACERBIS Team of the Year

AT some point in your lifetime, however fleeting it may be, your club will play out a monumental moment in its already proud history.

It could be a spectacular cup run, an against-the-odds title victory or even a gritty battle to avoid relegation – all events which live long in the memory of players and fans alike and help to define the very fabric of a club.

With that in mind, we decided to create a Team of the Year award, which commemorates one special group of players, who have gone out of their way to achieve a truly spectacular feat during the season.

The award will be handed out at our annual Isuzu National Game Awards at AFC Wimbledon’s Plough Lane Stadium on Wednesday May 22 – and we need your help in deciding who walks away with the top gong!

Last year, Phil Parkinson’s Wrexham picked up the award after racking up a record 111 points to win the National League title.

But this time round there are several candidates equally as deserving in taking home that much sought-after NGA glass decanter.

Take Chesterfield for one. They had to play second fiddle to both Wrexham and Notts County last season – losing out in a tense play-off final – but have certainly redeemed themselves this time round.

Paul Cook’s men have led, pretty much, from day one and cruised to the National League title
