Star Letter TOGETHER FOREVER
A few years back I visited Antarctica, saw these beautiful animals and fell instantly in love with them. They were so playful and unique. My partner proposed to me when we were all surrounded with them, which was a surprise. The penguins were our special audience who were witness to the beautiful love commitment. They stole our hearts forever. It was wonderful. So, when I saw the ‘Mandala Penguin’ in issue 327 (Special 2022) from designer Megan Caines, I had to stitch it. I used mostly DMC Étoile thread to make the penguin extra sparkly and I changed the bottom of his belly to reflect the clear blue waters surrounding the continent. Keep the special designs on coming, for so much pleasure stitching.

Wild at heart
My hubby bought me DMC* ‘Tiger Pool’ a couple of years ago and wanted me to stitch it for him. After 16 months and lots of other projects in-between, I’m really happy to say he’s done and framed and gifted to my hubby for our 14th wedding anniversary. He absolutely loves it.
