As you can see, I’ve turned ‘Merry and Bright’ from December 2024’s magazine into a cushion. I’m going to gift it to my in-laws, who live in Cornwall. It was lovely stitching it as it made me think of
■ Seam allowances are ¼in, unless otherwise noted. ■ Press seams to the side, unless otherwise instructed. ■ RST = right sides together. ■ FPP = Foundation Paper Piecing. ■ Shorten stitch length to 1.
We love this new series of fun, colourful Party Animals designs by Michaela Learner. What’s more, they’re worked only using whole stitches and a little backstitch, making them the perfect ‘next step’
