“When life gives you lemons, go to Scotland for a week – smiles guaranteed! Still on my way to recovery but I fully enjoyed the mix of hiking, paddleboarding, kayaking and dipping. The views kept making me smile every day. They gave me energy to do more and get through some of the ankle pain. Each day I met some fantastic people and I enjoyed listening to their stories so much.

“The trip was better than I could ever imagine. I managed to hike four Munros (and a few other hills), paddleboard or swim every day (or both), and have three splendid camps. But due to the limited miles I could do each day, I decided best not to do summit camps this time and I really enjoyed the new perspective, because sometimes an injury can be a blessing.”
