Make the most of your air fryer and save time and energy when you’re cooking with these quick and easy recipes

10-MINUTE BLUEBERRY CRUMBLE POTS

255g (2 cups) fresh blueberries
5 tbsp granulated sugar, plus 4 tsp for
the blueberries
4 tsp maple syrup
125g (1 cup) self-raising flour
60g (¼ cup) unsalted vegan butter, softened
28g (⅓ cup) porridge oats/oatmeal

1Divide the blueberries evenly among four ramekins. Sprinkle a tsp of sugar and drizzle a tsp of maple syrup into each ramekin.

2Put the ramekins in the air fryer basket and air fry the blueberries at 180°C/360°F for 5 minutes.

3In the meantime, put the 5 tbsp of sugar, the flour and butter into a bowl. Rub the fat into the flour and sugar using your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add the oats and stir with a fork until well mixed.

4When the air fryer beeps, sprinkle the crumble over the berries, dividing it equally among the four ramekins.

5Air fry at 200°C/400°F for 5 minutes, or until the blueberries are bubbling and the crumble topping is firm and golden.

QUICK MEDITERRANEAN VEGETABLES

450g (3 cups) prepared
Mediterranean vegetables
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
½ tsp dried basil
½ tsp dried oregano
salt and black pepper

1Put the vegetables into a mixing bowl. Add the olive oil to the bowl along with the dried herbs, then season with salt and pepper. Mix well with your hands. Remove any cherry tomatoes – if they are included – and set aside, as they will need a shorter cooking time.

2Tip the Mediterranean vegetables into the air fryer basket and air fry at 160°C/320°F for 16 minutes.

3Shake the veggies and add the cherry tomatoes to the fryer now, if using. Cook for a final 5 minutes at 180°C/360°F, or until the tomatoes have softened and the rest of the veg are crispy.

YOU CAN TRY OTHER VEGGIE BAGS, FOR EXAMPLE A ROOT VEG CASSEROLE MIX WITH CARROTS, BABY POTATOES AND TURNIP. FOLLOW THE SAME METHOD, BUT COOK AT 180°C/360°F FOR 25 MINUTES IN TOTAL.
