Renault E-Tech 100% electric

Renault’s 100% electric models are for those who want a smoother and more responsive driving experience compared to internal combustion equivalents – all while enjoying the feel-good environmental and cost-saving benefits of zero tailpipe emissions[2].

Making the switch to 100% electric is a committed choice that requires subtle behaviour changes, mostly around fitting public and home charging into your day.

The 100% electric Renault E-Tech range currently includes the Renault Megane family crossover, the Renault Kangoo compact van and the capacious Renault Master large van. And, soon, the new Renault Scenic SUV and the head-turning, retro-inspired Renault 5 city car will join their ranks.

Renault E-Tech full hybrid

Renault’s self-charging full hybrid technology is for drivers who aren’t quite ready to make the switch to 100% electric, but instead want a stepping stone that brings many of the cost-saving benefits of electrified driving[1], blended with the go-anywhere flexibility of a petrol engine.

Renault’s full hybrid system uses advanced regenerative braking to power a 400V battery, which works in harmony with an electric motor and a petrol engine to power the wheels. The result is improved performance and fewer trips to the pumps – all without the need to plug in.
